Option 3 Publicly announce it is a bug, but in good faith keep the bug in place until season 1 so everyone can have a fair chance and remove it with the season one patch. Option 2 Remove all the uber unique that were attainted via a bug. Option 1 what they did let people keep them but other paying players which if it was the rest of us got nothing. So with your same logic here lets do a thought experiment, For science!ĭiablo 4 is not a lotto so there are a few different ways they can handle it. People who bought tickets would all get either refunded or voucher for new raffle. They would invalidate their tickets and do a new lotto. What do you think the Lotto would do if it knew exactly who got winning numbers because of their mistake? Or does this 1/800k value already take into account all of the conditions I brought up. Example, I havent dropped a single item that was 820 item power and I have been playing almost every day since the launch, taking a few days off 2-3 times.īased on my rudimentary cave man like knowledge on that it sounds like there could be compounding drop rates effecting the 1/800k I am seeing be used. We dont know the % chance for a unique to drop on any given enemy, if we do then that would also affect the % no? Also, is there % chances for the unique to roll at 820, and if so, that roll would have to be an 820 unique and then also roll into an uber unique. The 1/800k number we are using is 1 in every Unique drop (meaning 1 out of every 800k Unique items dropped has a chance to be uber). Are these simply the drop rates on a given enemy type, or inside a specific type of content? In D4 we dont know if certain enemies or content has a higher chance to drop a unique weapon. Is that true? and if so, how is it true, and why are you the only person I have read or heard holding this stance.Īlso the stats your mentioning on drop rate. Someone starting a brand new Diablo season and a brand new POE League have the same or nearly the same opportunity to obtain a Mirror/Uber Unique. Why are so many people saying these things when yourself, so far the only person I have seen discount a lot of those statements, are saying the opposite.īased on your explanations this is what it sounds like your saying: There has to be other factors affecting the rarity other than the drop rate %. The chase and prize are what the game is about… not your entitlement and feelings.īut there must be a reason why I am reading and hearing people simply state that other chase items are simply not as rare as uber uniques. In the event you actually did find one, you’d feel entirely different about everyone getting a participation trophy for something you were so lucky to get. Ultra rare items should remain ultra rare. There are various ways to “win” and beat the system, complaining about not being one of the lucky few who did does nothing but make you, and everyone like you, look like the whiny entitled children you act like. People who feel entitled never stick around long. You’d likely have quit playing by now if you had no reason to keep looking for something. And I’m perfectly fine with never finding one. I’ll likely never see a shako unless they cave into pressure, which they likely will. You feel that by playing x number of hours you are entitled to whatever drop you want because you want it. The problem with “the shako debate” is entitlement.
